Christian Eriksen admits he can offer no clarification on his future at Ajax just yet, but insists he has not finished developing and learning as a player.

The midfielder’s contract with the Dutch champions expires in the summer of 2014 and he has refused to sign an extension, despite Ajax putting an offer on the table.

Eriksen wants to wait until the end of the season before deciding what to do, with Ajax director of football Marc Overmars having remarked that he feels the Denmark international is waiting to see which clubs make a move for him.

The 21-year-old has been strongly linked with a number of sides, including Liverpool and Manchester United in England.

But he is still not sure what the future holds.

"I do not know", Eriksen told ANP after Ajax’s 2-0 win over RKC Waalwijk yesterday, in which he scored a superb individual goal.

"Let me first finish the season in a good manner with Ajax", he continued.

"It suits me fine and no, I am not finished learning with Ajax."

The Dutch giants are crossing their fingers that Eriksen decides to pen a new deal, otherwise they will have to consider selling him this summer.
