Don’t Be Scared – Charles N’Zogbia Wants Aston Villa To Play Natural Game

Wednesday, 20th February, 2013

Aston Villa star Charles N’Zogbia feels that his team-mates must not be scared to play their natural game despite being in the middle of a relegation scrap.

Paul Lambert’s men sit just one place and one point above the Premier League drop zone, with their last match, a 2-1 victory over West Ham, giving them a real boost.

However, the Villa Park outfit are not out of trouble yet and travel to Arsenal on Saturday before hosting Manchester City and then taking a trip to Reading, three games which could easily yield zero points if they are not fully at the races.

And for N’Zogbia, the key to getting out of trouble may well just be to not enter games scared because of their Premier League predicament.

"I think we just know all we have to do is stay focused on not being scared and enjoy our football", he told his club’s official site.

"We just need to believe we can win games and we’ll be OK."

N’Zogbia also struck a defiant note ahead of the trip to Arsenal, dubbing it just another game.

"It is a game like any game and we just have to make sure we’re keeping ready and we will be ready to play against them."

Aston Villa have clocked up 25 consecutive seasons in the top flight of the English game, a run which could be broken if they do not build on their win over West Ham.
