Stoke City hold a serious interest in FC Copenhagen’s young striking sensation Andreas Cornelius and have sent representatives to watch him in action during this evening’s 2014 World Cup qualifier between Denmark and the Czech Republic, where they will be joined by Arsenal talent spotters.

Cornelius has burst onto the scene with FC Copenhagen this season and currently leads the Danish Superliga scoring charts with 16 goals in just 23 games.

The 20-year-old is now getting his chance on the international stage and has so far picked up two caps for Morten Olsen’s men.

According to bold.dk, Stoke have sent technical director Mark Cartwright and first team coach Mark O’Connor to watch Cornelius in action already, in Superliga action, and they will have scouts present to take in his performance against the Czech Republic.
