Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Clement Chantome has applauded Barcelona star and Spanish international Andres Iniesta for playing a “high-class” game in every single match and for “making it look so easy”.

Iniesta has been superb on all fronts this season, clocking up 22 assists and five goals in 43 matches in all competitions, and Chantome believes the Spaniard’s ability to find the right man to get the goal is noteworthy.

“I watched Iniesta against France [last night] and I liked his game”, Chantome told France Football. “Everything he does he makes it look easy. He is truly a high-class player.

“But then, all of Barca’s players are strong, and they have Lionel Messi, too”, the PSG midfielder added.

Chantome also expressed delight in the reduction of the Paris club’s forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s ban. The Swede, who originally had to serve a two-match ban for a tackle on Valencia’s Andres Guardado, is now an available option for Carlo Ancelotti as the ban has been reduced to just one match.

“[Ibrahimovic] is a great player who has charisma and experience”, Chantome said of his team-mate. “It’s always important to have players who have knowledge of these kinds of high-level matches.”

Ancelotti’s men will clash with the Catalan giants in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final on 2nd April, just four days after they host Montpellier in a Ligue 1 match.
