Ajax are prepared to cash in on talented midfield schemer Christian Eriksen this summer, but only for a fee of between €15M and €20M, according to Dutch daily the Algemeen Dagblad.

Eriksen is a man in demand, with his suitors monitoring his situation at Ajax carefully, given a contract which is due to expire in 2014.

He has been strongly linked with Liverpool, who have been regularly represented in the stands whenever Eriksen plays for Ajax, while Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has previously admitted rating the Denmark international.

There is also thought to be interest from clubs in Italy, while Spain too is another possible destination for the midfielder.

And Ajax will allow Eriksen to leave, but only for the right price, due to their faith in the player’s intentions.

Eriksen, who has been with the club since the age of 16, has promised he will not let his contract dwindle and leave Amsterdam in the summer of 2014 for free.

Indeed, the midfielder will sign a new contract after this summer if he is still present at Ajax.

It remains to be seen which clubs will be prepared to meet Ajax’s price tag for the schemer, but his future is set to continue to dominate the headlines in Holland.
