Wealthy Russian Premier League side Anzhi Makhachkala have joined the hunt for Toulouse left-back Aymen Abdennour, according to Mercato365.
Abdennour is a popular defender and has been scouted by Arsenal at points throughout the last 12 months, while Barcelona sought to woo him recently by inviting him to watch their Champions League clash against AC Milan at the Camp Nou.
Now Guus Hiddink's men have emerged as suitors for the Tunisia international too.
The Russian Premier League side are looking seriously at defensive reinforcements ahead of what they hope will be a Champions League campaign next season.
Abdennour is a regular for Alain Casanova's Toulouse side.
The 23-year-old has made 24 appearances in Ligue 1 during the current campaign.
He also travelled to South Africa in January to take part in the African Cup of Nations, featuring in all three of his country's group games in the tournament.
