English Premier League giants Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are attentive to the talents of Spanish starlet Ivan Alejo, a player for whom a summer transfer battle is threatening to break out.
The 18-year-old winger currently turns out in the youth ranks for Atletico Madrid, although his deal with Diego Simeone’s men expires in the summer.
Alejo was tempted to the Vicente Calderon from Real Valladolid, with Atletico Madrid beating Real Madrid and Valencia to the youngster’s signature.
Now he is attracting attention from abroad and according to El Norte de Castilla, Arsenal and Tottenham have now firmly joined the hunt.
Both clubs are ready to offer Alejo a contract for him to continue his footballing education in England.
