Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger feels that the Gunners are meeting Manchester United a little too soon, with the expectation that the Red Devils will drop the level of their performances in two to three games, rather than tomorrow.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s men visit the Emirates Stadium tomorrow in a Premier League clash, fresh off having been crowned champions on Monday night, by beating Aston Villa 3-0 at Old Trafford.

For Arsenal there is still much to play for, with a spot in the top four far from secure.

And the Gunners are under pressure to beat the newly-crowned champions tomorrow, in order to further boost their top four hopes.

But Wenger believes his side will not have it easy, while it could have been somewhat easier had Arsenal met Manchester United closer to the end of the season.

"It’s easy to ease off, yes", Wenger told his club’s official site.

"I do not hope too much. It is a special game, always, a little bit because naturally the stress is not there any more", he continued.

"Your tendency is to relax a little bit. The fact is they might continue to go [for it], or because it is just the next game.

"I think in two to three games they will ease off. Whether they want to or not.

"You are still on the high for the next game. It would be a big mistake for us to think they will ease off straight away on Sunday. It can happen in two weeks."
