Dutch starlet Kyle Ebecilio has inked a four-year contract with Eredivisie outfit FC Twente, while paying tribute to the extent to which he has grown at Arsenal.

The 19-year-old is leaving Arsenal at the end of the season, with the Gunners and Ebecilio concluding his career development would be better served by moving on.

And Ebecilio has chosen to return to familiar pastures by heading back to Holland, signing for the Tukkers, one of the Eredivisie’s biggest clubs.

The midfielder had options, as he explained to his new club’s official site: "The first talks were with PSV, then I spoke with Twente and with Anderlecht.

"Last week I took the plunge. I felt very good at FC Twente and immediately I felt at ease."

The talent had good words about Arsenal, the English giants having spent much time developing his skills and shaping him as a player.

"I learned a lot in the three years I’ve been playing at Arsenal", Ebecilio said.

"I have become more professional and more mature. Also, I am now stronger physically.

"Personally I had the goal of playing in the first team next season, which Arsenal could not offer, so I decided to return to the Netherlands."

And for Ebecilio there is no doubt what exactly he wants to do in 2013/14.

"I want to play as much as possible, gain experience and get better. [At Twente] I will work hard and show what I can do."
