Hamburg coach Thorsten Fink remains adamant there have been no bids for star striker Son Heung-Min, despite a host of top flight European clubs firmly in the race for his signature.

Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, Manchester United, Inter and Borussia Dortmund are the most high-profile clubs seeking the South Korean’s services, especially given a 12-goal season that helped Hamburg bounce back from early disappointments to only narrowly miss out on a Europa League berth.

However, Fink has reiterated seventh-placed Hamburg’s desire to hang on to their versatile forward, who has just over a year left on his contract.

"Son is already a piece of gold, which I do not want to leave", Fink told Kicker. "Not a fax has arrived with us. It’s all open."

Son has been making headlines with Hamburg since his arrival in 2008 and has already made 73 league appearances for the club, scoring a total of 20 goals.

The club’s sporting director Frank Arnesen was quoted by German newspaper Bild on Sunday as confirming the lack of bids, and that "at the moment there is no movement."

"There have been no talks", Arnesen said. "It is agreed that we will talk after the last game. In the coming weeks we will sit together [and discuss it]."
