Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk are rolling out the red carpet for FC Twente winger Nacer Chadli, inviting the player to the club this week.

Chadli has just one year left on his contract at Twente and the Tukkers are preparing to sell the Belgian to a foreign side, with interest from Ajax failing to move the Dutch side.

The 23-year-old has already attracted much attention, with English Premier League outfit Liverpool, Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund and Italian champions Juventus all monitoring the player’s situation.

Shakhtar Donetsk though have entered the race and Chadli has been invited to the Ukraine, according to Dutch daily the Algemeen Dagblad.

Chadli will travel to Donetsk later this week to be shown around the club’s Donbass Arena, training facilities and local area.

Shakhtar Donetsk will no doubt be able to make the Belgian a lucrative offer if he is prepared to move to the Ukraine.

Chadli has already admitted European football will enter his thoughts when choosing his next club. Shakhtar Donetsk have qualified for the Champions League next season by winning the Ukrainian Premier League.
