Paris Saint-Germain will kick off the defence of their Ligue 1 title with an away clash against the team they deposed last year in Montpellier, on 10th August, as the 2013/14 fixtures were announced by the LFP.

The capital club clinched their first league crown in 19 years when Carlo Ancelotti led them to the top with 12 points to spare, but next season has the added promise of games against big-spending Monaco.

While the principality club will begin their top flight campaign away against Bordeaux, all eyes will be fixed on the late-September fixture that sees PSG take on Monaco at the Parc de Princes.

Much will depend on whether Monaco are given a reprieve in their battle against headquarter-relocation to the tax-incurring part of France, based on a French Council of State ruling set for 20th June.
