PSV Eindhoven striker Ola Toivonen insists he is prepared to continue biding his time in search of a move away from the club, despite interest from Premier League side Norwich City being the latest in his kitty.

The 26-year-old has been courted by Everton and West Brom from England, with a €4.5m offer deemed worthy of taking him away from the Philips Stadion.

Toivonen has spent four-and-a-half years in Holland after his move from Swedish club Malmo, and a much-publicised falling out after his refusal to sign an extension has prompted talk of his exit.

Norwich are understood to have joined in the transfer talk, following their survival in England’s top flight, but are sure to face stiff competition from their rivals.

The Sweden international’s contract at PSV is set to expire in in 2014, but Toivonen remains calm over his future, despite the danger of being relegated to the reserve side should he not find a suitable buyer.

He told De Telegraaf: "I’m going on vacation, and I do not expect that something will happen [over the transfer] this month.

"I’m not going to accept the first offer that comes my way, but the best. I must be satisfied with both the club and the contract."

Toivonen had been subject to interest from abroad last year as well, with Rubin Kazan leading the way alongside Tottenham Hotspur and Valencia.

The forward, who joined PSV in 2009, turned out 17 times for the club this season, scoring seven goals.
