Ibrox giants Rangers have announced their pre-season friendlies, and they will kick-off their campaign against League One side Bristol City on 13th July, subject to approval from the requisite football authorities.

The Robins were relegated from the second tier of English football last season, after finishing at the bottom of the table, with just 41 points out of 46 games.



Following the match at Ashton Gate, the Gers will travel to Germany as a part of their preparations for the 2013/14 season.

Ally McCoist’s squad will train at a camp in Marienfeld, Germany, before taking on FC Gutersloh at the Heidewaldstadion in Gutersloh, on 17th July.
