Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has confirmed that the club have received an offer for striker Bafetimbi Gomis from Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk.

Gomis appears set to leave Lyon this summer if an agreement can be found, with the French side looking to cut costs once again.

He has also been linked with English Premier League pair Cardiff City and Swansea City, while Monaco are also believed to be monitoring proceedings.

But Shakhtar Donetsk have firmly put themselves in the picture.

"Shakhtar Donetsk have given us a very nice proposal", Aulas told Aujord’hui en France.

"We could come to an agreement with this club", he added.

Gomis hit the back of the net 16 times in Ligue 1 last season as Lyon finished third.
