The agent of Napoli striker Edinson Cavani has denied that a deal has been completed for his client to move to Chelsea.

It has been suggested within Italy that Chelsea have reached an agreement with Napoli for Cavani, one which will see the Europa League winners pay a fee of €58m for the player’s services.

However, Cavani’s agent has been quick to pour cold water over the transfer talk.

"There is nothing closed with Chelsea", Cavani’s agent Claudio Anellucci explained to Tutto Mercato, when asked about the growing chatter a deal is done.
