In-demand Lyon midfielder Clement Grenier has revealed he cannot say whether he will still be at the Stade Gerland next season because his future has not yet been determined.

The classy schemer has been strongly linked with Arsenal, where Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is known to be an admirer of his talents and sent scouts to watch him on several occasions last season. Meanwhile another Premier League side, Liverpool, have also cast their eyes over to France.

And with a contract which is set to expire next summer, Lyon are vulnerable to losing Grenier if a substantial bid arrives which turns the France international’s head.

Decision time is approaching and Grenier explains he cannot say what will happen, though he will meet president Jean-Michel Aulas on Friday.

"Today, I cannot honestly give an answer [on my future], because my future is not decided", he told RTL.

"I have a meeting which will come quickly [Friday, ed.] with the president, the coach and my representatives, to discuss a little bit of everything.

"But today I have problems talking about my future because nothing is decided. I prefer to wait to be 100 per cent sure about what is going to happen."

Grenier impressed in Lyon’s third-place finish in Ligue 1 last season, turning out 28 times in the French top flight and notching seven goals in the process.
