Roma striker Pablo Osvaldo has turned down the chance to join English Premier League side Southampton, according to Sky Italia.

The Saints are believed to have had a bid of around €20m for the Argentine accepted by the Giallorossi, but Osvaldo vetoed the switch.

Indeed, the 27-year-old has his sights set on a move to a bigger club this summer.

Osvaldo’s agent is expected to conduct talks with Russian Premier League giants Zenit St. Petersburg, while he is also hoping to book in an appointment with Manchester City.
