Paris Saint-Germain striker Kevin Gameiro is close to joining La Liga side Sevilla, according to French sports daily L’Equipe.

Representatives of the 26-year-old and Sevilla’s officials are moving to wrapping up the deal, reported to be worth around €10m.

The player has almost agreed personal terms with the club, who are set to play in the third qualifying round of the Europa League.

PSG already had Zlatan Ibrahimovic in their ranks and have further boosted their attacking line-up by roping in Napoli’s prolific scorer Edinson Cavani.

On the other hand, Sevilla have lost their star striker Alvaro Negredo to Manchester City and the French international is touted to replace the Andalusian club’s outgoing forward.

Malaga and Lyon were also interested in the striker, who has a further two years left on his current contract with the reigning Ligue 1 champions.

Gameiro has scored 19 goals in 59 appearances for PSG and also has eight senior caps for France to his name.
