Denmark coach Morten Olsen has advised Nicklas Bendtner that he must find a new club and get in form before he can be included in the international fold once again.

The striker has been left out of Olsen's Denmark squad for the friendly against Poland on 14th August, with the coach feeling that Bendtner needs to be involved at club level first.

Bendtner is looking for a move from Arsenal, having been linked with Eintracht Frankfurt, Malaga and FC Twente, and is not in the Gunners' plans or preparations.

That has caused Olsen to feel unable to pick the striker, who spent last season on loan at Juventus.

"We know that Nicklas has a slightly different body than Lars Jacobsen, so he must be in a different playing and physical shape, so he's obviously not in form", Olsen told AOH.

Asked about whether Bendtner might be involved after this year's World Cup qualifiers, Olsen replied: "I don't know.

"There will hopefully be something relating to his club situation.

"We hope that everything will come together for him."
