Paris Saint-Germain are targeting at least three players from clubs in England, with Yohan Cabaye already a known pursuit, as Bacary Sagna and Mathieu Debuchy are being considered.

Cabaye has been in PSG's sights from the time Laurent Blanc took over, and now it appears the French champions are looking for options in the right-back position according to L'Equipe.

The need could have arisen following their opening games of the season, including the 1-1 draw against Montpellier in Ligue 1.

PSG needed a comeback display to avoid defeat under Blanc's first league game, and it left several questions over their defence.

Both Sagna and Debuchy are specialised right-backs, but the former is versatile enough to slot into the centre if required.

While Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has always insisted there is a contract extension in line for Sagna, Debuchy's future at Newcastle United is a bit more uncertain.

Monaco were known to be planning a double raid back in June, that included Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, and it means PSG could eye up a similar approach, only theirs with Cabaye.

It is understood that Cabaye had been marked out by ex-PSG sporting director Leonardo, who resigned this summer, and the 27-year-old has also played previously under Blanc for France.
