Crystal Palace have completed their tenth full summer signing by taking on Reading winger Jimmy Kebe on a three-year deal.

Kebe, who graduated from Lens' academy to their senior squad in France in the previous decade, joined Reading in 2008.

He helped the Royals achieve a historic promotion as champions in 2011/12 making 33 Championship appearances along the way.

However, injury and extra competition restricted him to just 18 games in the Premier League last season and since Reading's relegation he had been searching for a move.

Palace confirmed the signing after yesterday's 3-1 Premier League win over Sunderland, and it came "for an undisclosed sum".

Kebe himself was quoted on Palace's website as saying: "It's a big move for me. I'm very excited about it.

"I didn't know if I was going to be able to move in this transfer window but getting back to the Premier League was my main target.

"I talked to the manager and you can see how excited he is and I'm ready for the challenge.

"It's a big opportunity for the club and we know it's not going to be easy to stay in this league as there's a lot of good clubs but anything is possible, so we'll try our best.

"I was in the same situation with Reading and it's never easy to move from the Championship to the Premier League as it's a big step.

"But there's quality players here and we have a strong team to do something with here."
