Isco and David Silva will not feature for Spain in the nation’s friendly match against Chile on Tuesday, the Spanish Football Federation have confirmed.

Real Madrid playmaker Isco was in line to collect his second international cap in the match in Geneva, but the national team have confirmed he has returned to the Spanish capital "as a precaution" following tests on his left ankle.

The 21-year-old was an unused substitute in La Roja’s 2-0 victory over Finland in a World Cup qualifying match on Friday.
