The agent of Chelsea defender Wallace, who is on a season-long loan at Italian giants Inter, has insisted that his client's comments about moving to Real Madrid recently were "misinterpreted".

Wallace had said that he dreams of turning out for Los Blancos alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, even if he understands that it is something for the future and not the present.

But the 19-year-old's representative Frederico Moraes has wasted little time in trying to clear up his client's comments.

"I think the statements were misinterpreted", he explained to Tutto Mercato.

"He now plans to do his best for Inter.

"It is pointless to think about anything else."

Wallace officially landed at Chelsea this summer from Brazilian outfit Fluminense, but was instantly shipped out for regular first team football.

He has explained that the Blues originally wanted to send him to Vitesse, but he refused, with his eyes set on a bigger club, eventually ending up at Inter.
