Manchester United starlet Adnan Januzaj has lauded the technical qualities of team-mates Robin van Persie, Shinji Kagawa and Wayne Rooney and stated that he feels playing alongside the trio will help him to improve his game.

The 18-year-old was the Red Devils’ hero on Saturday as his twin strikes helped his side to come back from a goal down and defeat Sunderland 2-1 at the Stadium of Light.

And the winger believes that his all-round football abilities can improve by playing alongside experienced performers as he intends to become a better player.

"The technical qualities [of Robin van Persie, Shinji Kagawa and Wayne Rooney] are brilliant, so just playing alongside them raises your standards”, Januzaj told United Review.

“You learn little things like when to speed up play, when to pass, when to hold the ball, all those things… by watching experienced players it just becomes natural."

Januzaj, who made his first Premier League start for Manchester United against the Black Cats on Saturday, has a further year left on his current contract with the club.

The youngster has thus far made just five appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils.
