Bayern Munich defender and Brazilian international Dante has brushed off thoughts that the Allianz Arena outfit are slowly being moulded to play manager Pep Guardiola's "tiki-taka" style.

Guardiola led Catalan giants Barcelona to unprecedented success in his four-year stint at the Camp Nou, including a sextuple in 2009, using the now famous "tiki-taka" tactic the Spanish tactician adapted from Holland legend Johan Cruyff.

When Guardiola fully assumed the role of Bayern Munich boss in the summer after taking a sabbatical from management, many thought the ex-Barca manager would impose his style on his new club, but Dante insists no such thing has happened.

"At Bayern Munich, there is no talk of tiki-taka. It's simply not how we think or play as a club", Dante told Radio COPE.

"Of course, we try to have as much possession of the ball to make sure we control every match. But Pep is a smart coach, and he is willing to adapt to our style of play and meet a compromise", the Brazilian defender added.

And it appears Guardiola is doing well at the Allianz Arena, leading the Bavarian giants to the summit of the Bundesliga table with 20 points, running undefeated in their opening eight games.
