Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has refused to be drawn on the club's plans for the January transfer window.

The French champions are expected to be active in the new year, with a creative midfielder thought to be top of Blanc's wishlist, and Chelsea's Juan Mata, Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus and Bayern Munich's Arjen Robben all linked.

But Blanc is not prepared to add fuel to the burning transfer fires at present and brushed away questions on the subject.

The former defender told a press conference: "The winter window, we'll discuss the period when the transfer window opens."

PSG will have money to spend in January as they look to retain their French Ligue 1 title and mount a serious bid to win the Champions League.

Blanc's men currently sit on top of Ligue 1 on goal difference, ahead of AS Monaco.

PSG have also started the Champions League well this term, thrashing Olympiacos 4-1, Benfica 3-0 and then Anderlecht 5-0.
