The agent of in-demand forward Alexandre Pato has left his client's future squarely in the hands of his club Corinthians.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have been strongly linked with the former AC Milan star recently, especially with revelations that the latter failed with a bid for the Brazilian in the summer leaking out.

Corinthians themselves have also added fuel to the fire by admitting that they will not rule out selling the 24-year-old in January for the right price.

And Pato's agent has pushed responsibility for his client's future back onto the Brazilian giants.

Gilmar Veloz told Lancenet: "In the future you should ask the leadership of Corinthians.

"As far as I'm concerned Pato has a contract with the club. Only the club can talk about it."

Pato moved over to Europe in 2007, joining AC Milan, where he remained until this year, at which time he headed back to his homeland to join Corinthians.

However, should his European suitors flash the cash, his stay back in Brazil could prove to be a short one.
