FC Dordrecht goalkeeper Warner Hahn admits he had his pick of some very big clubs, including Celtic and Newcastle, but ultimately feels comfortable with his choice of Feyenoord.

Hahn has been starring in the Dutch second tier this term, but Dordrecht were always fighting a losing battle with regards to keeping the 21-year-old due to a contract which is due to expire next summer.

Nevertheless, Dordrecht were unwilling to sell Hahn in January as they seek to ensure the best chance possible of promotion to the Eredivisie this term.

The custodian will play in the Eredivisie next season whatever happens though, having agreed a three-year deal with Feyenoord to commence from the summer of 2014. And he had options, he explained to De Telegraaf.

"I am incredibly happy with this three-year contract", Hahn said.

"At one point I could choose from many clubs: Newcastle United, Celtic, Roma, Lazio. It was crazier by the day.

"But for me at that time it was already clear that I wanted to develop in Holland at Feyenoord.

"I come from Rotterdam, Feyenoord is in all respects a great club. I can only be satisfied in retrospect by how my career has gone so far."
