Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is consistently sending the club's French scout Gilles Grimandi to watch Paris Saint-Germain games, with the express purpose of reporting back on Adrien Rabiot.
Wenger is an admirer of the young midfielder and the Arsenal manager is determined to keep close tabs on his progress at the Parc des Princes ahead of a possible swoop.
And so, according to French daily Le Parisien, Grimandi is a regular at PSG games.
Rabiot's contract at PSG expires in 2015 and the midfielder is keen to discover just how much regular first team football he can expect to receive under coach Laurent Blanc before extending.
Blanc is a fan of Rabiot, but competition for a starting spot in the French champions' midfield is fierce.
The 18-year-old also has a number of other suitors, with Arsenal's north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur keen on the midfielder.
Chelsea too are alive to Rabiot's talents and the young starlet has explained he is determined not to warm the bench at the Parc des Princes for too long if that becomes his lot in the French capital.
