Lille goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama is unfazed by losing out on breaking the Ligue 1 clean-sheet record, after the 1,061-minute run was ended on Sunday.

Lille conceded an unfortunate deflected goal – struck by Bordeaux's Landry N'Guemo – which meant Enyeama missed out on breaking the record of 1,176 minutes set in 1992/93.

Ironically, that record was set by then Bordeaux goalkeeper Gaetan Huard, but despite yesterday's defeat, Enyeama remained upbeat.

Following Lille's first defeat since 15th September, the Nigeria international told L'Equipe: "Quite honestly, I've never had this notion of the record in my head.

"It does not bother me at all. I'm having fun. Whether I concede a goal or not, it's okay.

"It's part of life. Football is fun and we must take it that way. We could have scored too.

"As long as we remain united, there are no worries. I don't care about any kind of invincibility. The important thing is to work collectively."
