Roma will not be making any changes to their side in the winter transfer window, general manager Mauro Baldissoni has announced.

The capital club are flying high in Serie A this season – despite drawing a bump to their perfect winning start – and lie second in the table.

Amid all this, names such as Edin Dzeko, Nemanja Vidic, and Javier Pastore are doing the rounds, among so many others who are also targets for clubs in the Premier League.

However, Baldissoni has warned the club will not interfere with the winning combination, the foundations of which have been expertly built together after the summer arrival of coach Rudi Garcia.

Baldissoni was quoted by Sportmediaset as saying: "I think I can tell you right now that we will be doing nothing in January.

"We will not be touching the internal chemistry, which the coach counts on for a lot."

Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye was also deemed to be a Roma target, with Liverpool also on his trail.

Meanwhile, Arsenal and Roma were both believed to have made offers for young Barcelona striker Antonio Sanabria, with the Gunners reportedly frontrunners at €3m.
