Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has revealed that he intends to hand Danny Rose and Christian Eriksen playing minutes in his side’s final Europa League group stage match against Anzhi Makhachkala tonight.

Eriksen, who joined Spurs from Ajax during the summer transfer window, has not featured for his side since picking up an ankle injury while on international duty with Denmark in November.

On the other hand, left-back Rose has been sidelined since injuring his foot against Tromso in mid-September.

And Villas-Boas explained that he wants the pair to get playing time under their belt against the Russian outfit at White Hart Lane.

“We will look to try and give Danny Rose a couple of minutes in this game and Christian Eriksen is also selected, so there is the possibility that he could play some minutes as well”, the manager told his club’s official site.

The Portuguese international further revealed that Vlad Chiriches, who injured his knee against Fulham earlier in the month, will not be available against Anzhi tonight, but the manager expects the centre-back to be back in the reckoning for the Premier League game against Liverpool on Sunday.

“There is a good possibility that Vlad might be available for the game against Liverpool, but not tomorrow [Thursday]”, he added.
