The agent of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro has refused to rule out a switch to Italy's Serie A for his client at some point in the future.

Angel Leon, the chairman of the BaseSoccer group, which looks after the interests of the Brazilian, has admitted that Sandro is wanted by a number of Italians clubs, but stressed the 24-year-old is currently happy in London.

Nevertheless, a move to Serie A and away from Spurs cannot be ruled out at some point.

He was quoted as saying by Sky Italia: "Now he is happy, he is fit and he is doing well in London.

"He is playing consistently, even though he knows that in Italy there are several clubs that are interested.

"But he feels well in London.

"In the future however, never say never."

Leon waved away any question of Sandro moving in the quickly approaching January transfer window though, with next summer's World Cup his overriding goal.

"In January he will not move. Now he is only thinking about playing and regaining a spot in the Brazil squad for the World Cup."

Sandro has been at Spurs since joining the club from Internacional in 2010.
