Sebastian Giovinco's agent has ruled out any possibility of his client leaving Juventus in next month's transfer window.

The attacking midfielder had been linked with quitting the Italian champions in search of more regular playing time, with Liverpool and Parma both firm fans of his talents.

But Giovinco will not be heading elsewhere in the new year – and that is final, his agent has claimed.

"Giovinco? It was always clear that the player would not leave Turin", Claudio Pasqualin told Ilsussidiario.

"He has now confirmed that.

"There are no surprises."

Giovinco missed the end of November and start of December through injury, but was back on the bench for Juventus against Sassuolo last weekend.

He will hope to clock up minutes on the pitch later today when Juventus travel to play Atalanta in Serie A action.
