Fulham have completed the loan capture of United States international forward Clint Dempsey.

The 30-year-old turned out for Fulham between 2007 and 2012, before quitting Craven Cottage to move across London to sign for Tottenham Hotspur.

He lasted just one season at White Hart Lane before returning home to the United States, landing at MLS outfit Seattle Sounders.

Now Dempsey is back at Fulham on a two-month loan – and he is delighted.

"It feels good to be back – this has always felt like my home in Europe", he told the Cottagers' official site.

"Going into a World Cup year, I want to get back to playing at the highest level and get back to top form."

Dempsey managed 60 goals in 225 appearances for Fulham in his first spell at the club.
