West Ham look set to receive a boost in the wake of their 6-0 League Cup semi-final first leg drubbing against Manchester City, with news that striker Ishak Belfodil is poised to arrive on loan.

The 21-year-old Algerian has been the subject of talks between West Ham and his current club Inter, with an agreement in place between both parties and also co-owners Parma.

According to Tutto Mercato, Belfodil will arrive in London tomorrow to put the finishing touches to a loan switch to Upton Park, which should also include a potential purchase option.

Belfodil is looking for regular first team football and finds a team that will hand him just that, as West Ham have struggled to provide a consistent goal threat this term.
