QPR are mounting a strong push to sign Auxerre striker Paul-Georges Ntep in what would be a genuine coup if the English Championship club were able to tempt the 21-year-old to Loftus Road.

Ntep is currently the subject of an offer from Ligue 1 side Rennes, but interest in the France Under-21 goalscorer goes much wider than that.

Both Arsenal and Roma have been linked with Ntep, interest the striker has heard about and finds flattering.

Borussia Monchengladbach, Paris Saint-Germain, Monaco and Saint-Etienne are also attentive to Ntep's talents.

But it is QPR who are providing the most tempting proposal for Ntep, according to French sports daily L'Equipe.

The Championship side have offered the young striker a wage package which is higher than that on the table at Rennes and as such is of great interest to him.

Ntep has been tipped to reach the very top and the striker has hit the back of the net seven times in Ligue 2 in the current campaign.

Perhaps more impressively however he has scored five goals in five games for France's Under-21s in their bid to qualify for the next European Championship.
