Kurt Zouma's representative has confirmed that the Saint-Etienne defender is wanted by clubs in France, Italy and England, but stresses there is no concrete switch looming for the 19-year-old.

Last summer's France Under-20 captain, who led the country to Under-20 World Cup success, has no shortage of suitors with a virtual who's who of European football having been linked with him at points over the last 12 months.

Indeed in June last year, Zouma's agent told his client's biggest fans, specifying Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United that they would be mad not to pay €10m to sign the stopper.

From England, Manchester City and Newcastle have also been listed as admirers of Zouma's talents, while his fans in Germany are Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg; Inter and Juventus make up the Italian contingent.

Within France meanwhile, Monaco have been leading the race after Zouma dismissed any prospect of him moving to Saint-Etienne's rivals Lyon.

And interest in the 19-year-old persists this month, with one of his representatives confirming to GianlucaDiMarzio.com that "big clubs want him".

"Some big clubs want him, he has requests from France, Italy and England", said Alexandre Bonnefond.

"But for the moment, there is nothing definite", he added.

Zouma is under contract at Les Verts until the summer of 2017. He is currently serving a ten-match Ligue 1 suspension for a challenge which left an opposing player with a broken leg and dislocated ankle.
