Chelsea defender Wallace is set to see his loan stint at Inter brought to a close within the next few days.

The English club snapped Wallace up from Fluminense earlier this year, shipping out the right-back on a season-long loan to Inter not long after.

It was hoped that the 19-year-old could enjoy regular first team football at Inter before arriving back at Chelsea.

But Wallace has failed to convince Inter coach Walter Mazzarri of his talents and, according to Sky Italia, the Nerazzurri are poised to bring down the curtain on the defender's loan.

Chelsea are likely to then look to loan Wallace out for the remainder of the campaign to another club, with first team opportunities scarce at Stamford Bridge.

Wallace has managed just 43 minutes of Serie A action for Inter this term, although he did play an entire Coppa Italia game.
