Cardiff City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has denied any deal has been reached over Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha.

Zaha was rumoured to have already undergone a medical at Cardiff ahead of a loan switch, and the deal was expected to be announced today.

The England international is a favourite to be loaned out this season, with even former club Crystal Palace and Everton linked.

Cardiff became the favourites earlier this week to land him, though Solskjaer today rejected all speculation about a medical.

And when asked if a deal was imminent, Solskjaer told a press conference relayed by Norwegian outlet TV2: "You have to ask Manchester United.

"He is a Manchester United player. I cannot comment about those who are not Cardiff players."

Zaha has made just the two substitute appearances for Manchester United this season in the Premier League alongside one in the October League Cup clash against Norwich City.
