Bayern Munich are hoping to confirm the contract renewal for Arjen Robben this month, as talks begin with his representatives and the club.

The Dutchman will see his current deal expire in 2015, but is largely expected to sign a renewal until 2017.

According to Voetbal International, Robben is already on the negotiating table alongside his agent and Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

With club president Uli Hoeness also weighing in, there is little doubt about the renewal going ahead.

However, the club still need to decide if Robben should be given the option of extending his stay beyond 2017 by an additional year.

Robben was linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain at the early part of this season, but has never indicated a desire to leave the treble champions.

The 30-year-old capped his return from injury recently with a goal and an assist last weekend as Bayern Munich thrashed Eintracht Frankfurt 5-0.
