Liverpool full-back Jon Flanagan has revealed he is confident about his side breaching Arsenal’s defence, ahead of their match against the Gunners at Anfield tomorrow.

The Reds, who are currently fourth in the Premier League table with 47 points from 24 games, have scored the second most league goals this season with 58 strikes to their name, only behind Manchester City’s tally of 68.

In addition, Liverpool’s prolific strikers Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge have racked up 37 Premier League goals between them.

And Flanagan insists that the Merseyside club are confident about breaking down Arsenal’s defence, which is the second meanest defence in the division behind Chelsea, with the attacking players his side have at their disposal.

"With the players we have we are always confident”, the defender explained to his club’s official site.

“Our front players are just in great form and we think we can break them down defensively."

Interestingly, the only time Liverpool failed to score in a game in which Sturridge and Suarez played together this season was their 2-0 loss to Arsenal in the corresponding fixture at the Emirates Stadium on 2nd November.
