Argentina coach Alejandro Sabella has refused to dwell once again on national-team outcast Carlos Tevez, after claiming there would be no surprises for future squads.

Juventus striker Tevez has not featured for Argentina since the summer of 2011, and there is much talk of personal issues surrounding his exclusion.

Tevez, who is now a favourite in Turin, will, in all likelihood, be left out of the World Cup squad.

For now, Sabella was grilled about Tevez ahead of naming his squad for a friendly against Romania in early March.

And the Argentina coach kept it simple, quoted on ANSA as saying: "I am not speaking of those players who have not been called.

"[For the friendly squad] there will be no surprises."

Tevez's time in Juventus has seen him score 13 Serie A goals in 23 games this season, with seven assists.
