England continued their slide down the FIFA rankings, dropping two places to 15th in the latest edition.

The February 2014 table sees England down 11 spots on the year-on-year basis, having been at fourth this time in 2013.

The Three Lions now have Chile, the USA, and Greece above them going into the top 10.

England's ranking last October had put them as unseeded for the World Cup draw, and they eventually finished in the same group as heavyweights Italy and Uruguay alongside Costa Rica.

FIFA's top three of Spain, Germany and Argentina remain unchanged, though Portugal pipped Colombia to fourth place.

France, whose ranking during the World Cup playoffs had caused a fair amount of consternation in the seeding, rose two places from January to 18th.

World Cup hosts Brazil swapped places with Holland for ninth, while Denmark showed the biggest points scalp at 76 to gain five places.
