Barcelona want to go German this summer in a bid to reinvigorate their side, with Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Mats Hummels and Thomas Muller all in their sights.

Goalkeeper Ter Stegen is a near certainty to head to the Camp Nou when the transfer window reopens, with Borussia Monchengladbach having confirmed he will leave the club at the end of the season. And while there has been no confirmation that Barcelona is the destination, the Blaugrana are thought to have the swoop all but sealed.

According to Spanish daily El Mundo Deportivo, Ter Stegen could be joined by two countrymen for 2014/15.

Borussia Dortmund centre-back Hummels is being targeted as Barcelona look to strengthen a defence which may well lose Carles Puyol in the summer, the veteran defender pondering an exit.
