Atletico Madrid have been linked with Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech as they stare at the possibility of losing Thibaut Courtois for next season.
Courtois is on loan from Chelsea and the Blues have already indicated they will not agree to extend that arrangement for what would be a fourth season.

But the Belgium goalkeeper is cool on heading back to Stamford Bridge if it means playing understudy to Cech and wants a first team spot.
According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, that has raised the possibility for Atletico Madrid of trying to seek Cech this summer, as Courtois returns to Chelsea.

It remains to be seen whether or not Chelsea are willing to lose Cech though, while it is also unclear whether the Czech goalkeeper would swap Stamford Bridge for the Vicente Calderon.
However, Diego Simeone's men are set to have a clear need for a new number 1 on account of Courtois' impending departure.
