Despite interest from Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette is open to extending his contract at the Stade Gerland.

Lyon fiercely resisted interest in the 22-year-old in January and are keen to keep him at the club beyond this summer.

And Lacazette appears open to continuing his Lyon spell into the 2014/15 campaign, even if the club once again look unlikely to be playing Champions League football.

"It is up to the president and my agent. I am open to an extension", the forward said at a press conference.

"There's no extra pressure", the 22-year-old continued.

"Especially to be at a club like OL, that gives me responsibilities."

Lacazette has been fielded 25 times in Ligue 1 this season by coach Remi Garde, finding the back of the net a notable 13 times.

Lyon currently sit sixth in Ligue 1, having collected 42 points from 27 games.
