Liverpool defender Jon Flanagan believes his side's dominant 3-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford yesterday will have caused their title rivals to worry.

The Reds were rampant in the reigning champions' backyard, bossing Manchester United throughout and proving good value for their victory.

The three points leave Liverpool second in the table on 62 points from 29 games, four behind league leaders Chelsea.

"I'm sure the other clubs up there will be worried after this result but we are just concentrating on ourselves", Flanagan was quoted as saying by his club's site.

"We all believe we can do it. We just need to keep pushing on."

Nevertheless, Flanagan claims that Liverpool are not getting carried away yet, knowing they have not achieved anything at this point in the season.

"All the lads know we haven't achieved anything yet", the full-back explained.

"Our target was top four at the start of the season and we are on target for that. Anything else is a bonus."
