Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood is plotting to hit Liverpool on the counter attack at Anfield tomorrow.

Liverpool will start the Premier League clash knowing that victory would put them top of the table. It would also however deal a big blow to Spurs' remaining hopes of scrambling into the top four.

And Sherwood has been plotting how to go about securing a valuable three points from the encounter, believing he has worked out a way to do just that.

"We're aware of their attack but they do concede goals, that is one positive we can look at", he was quoted as saying by ITV.

"I am not sure how many clean sheets they've kept, but they can leak goals because they throw everything forwards.

"They can be caught on the counter-attack and we will be very respectful of the threats they have coming forwards, but we need to try and impose ourselves on them at some stage of the game", the Tottenham boss concluded.

Both Liverpool's primary strikers, Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge, have scored 20 plus goals in the Premier League this season.

The Reds have conceded nine goals in their last six league games however.
